𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 ~ a Mindful watercolor workshop!

In this workshop we are gonna learn the basis of watercolor from scratch and focus on the practice of freehand painting. What does this mean? Creating our shape directly with our brush without a previous sketch or drawing. This will make your work truly unique!
The practice of freehand painting is not only a technical training but also a training of character and, as I see it, of presence and mindfulness.
Painting with water and brush without prior drawing may sound difficult and, I'm not going to lie to you, it is challenging. But it can also be enormously gratifying when we learn to see it as a game and approach it as a child would: with curiosity and without fear.
My goal during this workshop is to give you the technical tools and help for you to gain confidence to paint as if it were a game, so you can jump in and explore your inner artist!
We will be working with elements of nature as inspiration for our creations. No experience is needed, and all supplies are included!

Session 1 - 09.07
Session 2 - 10.07
Both - 18:30 to 21hs in Backhaus Projects (Weserstraße 168, 12045, Berlin)

You will be given to work:
✔️ Professional watercolor paper
✔️ Various watercolor brushes and sizes to choose from
✔️ A porcelain palette to mix your colors
✔️ 15 shades of Van Gogh and Schmincke watercolor tubes to choose your favourite colors to work
✔️ Various images to use as reference and inspiration, as well as real life flowers
🍪 Vegan snacks!

*CANCELLATION POLICY:*
Cancellations or drop-offs after booking will only be justified due to illness and upon presentation of a medical certificate. In case of unjustified drop-offs:
72hs before starting date: 35% of the final price will be kept, the rest will be reimbursed.
48hs before starting date: 50% of the final price will be kept, the rest will be reimbursed.
